Ken Lovell
Managing Partner
Ken is the founder and Managing Partner of Lovell. He started the firm in 2010 after working as a corporate attorney at a major law firm and as in-house counsel for a pharmaceutical company. Ken started the firm as a solo practitioner with a single client and has grown Lovell organically (strictly through word of mouth) to work with over 60 companies, many of which are publicly traded.
Ken has been in the pharmaceutical industry for over 25 years. In the last 15 years, he has served as in-house counsel, outside counsel and business advisor to various companies, ranging from pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, laboratories, tech companies and engineering firms.

As Managing Partner, Ken focuses on delivering the highest level of service to Lovell's clients, fostering opportunities for learning and growth among the firm's attorneys, and guiding the firm towards future success.
Ken works with clients to assess their current contract management processes, policies, and templates to determine how to best streamline every stage of the contract lifecycle. He also consults on contract lifecycle management (CLM) system implementations. Ken has helped to customize and configure over 20 CLMs for Lovell’s clients, including Agiloft, Apttus, Cobblestone, Conga, DocuSign CLM, and Ironclad.
