We are looking to hire an associate attorney with an excellent academic record and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Candidate must have strong attention to detail and above average organizational skills. Candidates should be proactive and be able to manage multiple contracts across various clients on a day-to-day basis. This position is a client-facing role. For most of Lovell’s clients, you will look and feel like part of the client’s in-house legal team. Hired candidates will have a direct line to client’s businesspeople and in-house counsel while drafting and negotiating contracts on the client’s behalf.
  • 3+ years of in-house experience
  • Experience with corporate contracts (MSAs, SOWs, Amendments) required
  • CA certification required

We are looking to hire an experienced paralegal with at least 3 years of in-house experience and strong organizational skills. Candidates must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel. Candidates should have familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems and/or contract trackers. Candidates must have strong attention to detail and experience with corporate contracts (MSAs, SOWs, Amendments). Candidates are expected to manage multiple matters across various clients on a day-to-day basis. This position does have client-facing interactions. Hired candidates will have a direct line to client’s businesspeople and in-house counsel while supporting Lovell attorneys.

Our summer associate program is designed as an 8-10-week program that provides 2L students the opportunity to take on substantive work at the first-year associate level. Summer associates are staffed on multiple clients, allowing each summer associate to work closely with many different Lovell attorneys and in-house counsel. This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in corporate and transactional law seeking an in-house path.

At the completion of the program, we consider all summer associates as candidates for full-time employment.
