Ashkan manages a wide range of agreements for clients on both sides of transactions, with an emphasis on research, development, clinical supply (pre-clinical and clinical), quality and manufacturing agreements. Ashkan is an experienced attorney who began his career as a transactional associate in New York. He primarily worked on various debt-related agreements and corporate governance documentation before transitioning to an in-house counsel role at a private investment firm. He honed his skills in contract negotiation and drafting along the way, developing a focus on pragmatic problem-solving. Given his experience working with commercial contracts, Ashkan transitioned to Lovell, drawn to Lovell’s solution-oriented contract management for clients across an array of industries. His experience as an associate general counsel has proven invaluable giving him a unique ability to understand, counsel and resolve complex issues through a practical lens for his clients.

Ashkan was born in Los Angeles and raised in Long Island, New York. He currently lives in Los Angeles, where he desperately misses New York bagels. When Ashkan is not reading or catching up on the latest movies, he is coaching the Lakers from his living room.
